Late Dash Swap Into Early CarWiring
I was originally going to repair the early dash in my 84 944, but I have since decided to get a late dash and all supporting parts. I'm working on wiring in the gauge cluster first and made an excel document to map wiring and so on, but I'm wondering if some others can help out with a few of these.
On the left are the late gauge cluster connectors, and the right are the early cluster connectors. In red are the pins I'm unsure of. Can anyone help out with these? Dark green I've already hooked up, light green I still need to connect. These are just color coding for myself. Tan I have no plan to connect.

Connector 2 Pin 4 and Connector 3 Pin 5 are both BK/RE wires. I think these are usually switched power wires?
Connector 2 Pin 3 is the tach wire I believe. |

The rest of the connectors are going in easily. The window switches all use the same color combinations on the wires, so it makes it simple. Headlight switch is mostly the same colors, but the pin labels are almost all the same. Some of the early switches clip right in to the newer center console as is. Overall, this isn't too hard of a project yet. I plan to retain early HVAC, I just need to find a decent way to integrate the cable controls where the late HVAC stuff would have been.

I think I have nearly everything figured out, but there must be a few things missing... as the gauge cluster doesn't work yet.
These particular 5 wires, I assumed they were supposed to be 12V switched, but I am unsure. I also wasn't sure what the 15 and 10 reference to in this picture. EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out. Black wires are typically 12V switched, and these are exactly that.
