1988 944 dme
I believe this DME is specific to this year (88' N/A) but I'm really not sure. I've had this 20+ years and it was among a parts box I bought back then. It was reported to be in perfect working order (20 yrs ago) by a seller I trusted. I have no reason to believe its not plug and play now but it is an electronic item and that was ever so long ago. There are several companies online that rebuild these DME computers for a reasonable fee. Worse case scenario, you get a fantastic core for rebuild.

john its not the 2.7.... its the 88 high compression ecu though ! you should know better !!

Thanks- I can confirm it was for a 2.5 but after additional reading, im rather positive it is 88 specific
