Yup, auto trans is for sale as well as the short block of an 89 944 which was the 2.7 liter. The trans was shifting fine when taken out. The car that it came out of had a front collision and 86000 miles.

I took another look at the flex plate and it has some cracking so..... Shipping shouldn't be more than about $190 for the trans or the engine.

how is the condition of the steering wheel? Also is the interior brown or maroon?

Yep, the interior is burgundy. Brown wasn't an option until 86 and this came out of an 85.5. Much appreciation. I will take a look at the steering wheel tomorrow, right now I have 18" of snow and 10 degrees between me and the garage. I am wimpy.
