Save yourself some grief and check out any potential transporter on www.transportreviews.com. BTW, I have no interest or affiliation.....just giving my recommendation to fellow Pelicanites. You may change your mind about DAS....I did after reading some of the testimonials/horror stories about joy rides and damage to cars. I ended up using one of the 5-star rated carriers called Red Carpet Transport, and everything went exactly as it was supposed to. I got a great price and my car arrived in 3 days from New Mexico on the same truck it was loaded on. Make sure you get "door-to-door" service unless you want your car unloaded and stored at various "depots" along the way, and transferred from one truck to another. There is potential for damage every time your car is loaded and unloaded. Also, factor in the cost of insurance before comparing prices. Red Carpet's price included insurance. Good luck.
