Does your '83 crankshaft have a oil galley hole on both sides of each of the 4 rod bearing journals?
What is the month and date code on back of engine block right behind where flywheel would be?

The holes go all the way through the rod bearing journal.

The engine code is 43D 3251. Definitely an early engine code.

There is an actual date cast in block right behind where flywheel would be it should say 82 or 83 with little tiny dots in a circle around it. This shows up on almost every European auto part for the last 30 years and gives you the exact month and year it was made. 12 dots in circle around year in which if there are only 6 dots it means June and 8 dots mean August very simple. I WILL TAKE THE CRANKSHAFT thanks
