944 S 16 valve cylinder head FS:
Removed from a clean CA 1987 944 S 16 valve car with 146K miles. Teeth on sprockets of both cams are in excellent shape nice and sharp, tensioner pads look like they have been replaced in last 10 years as well as head shows signs of being rebuilt within that same timeframe. So the head has been removed and redone in last 10 years. All valves are in great shape. I stripped everything but valves and springs off of it and dropped it off at machine shop yesterday to get cleaned. Comes complete with all valves, springs hardware, camshafts, all tensioner parts, matching cam caps, coolant neck spacer, front timing pulley, good hall sender & little bracket and 2 piece gear cover! As well as cleaned ready for paint Porsche cylinder head cover!
More pictures to follow when I pick up at machine shop end of week! Asking $500 shipped for entire package Also have dme computer from same car with performance chip $100 shipped K&N air filter almost new $35 shipped

Here is the fresh pictures of head today after I picked up from machine shop. This head was rebuilt in the last few years as it looks excellent. I broke it all down and dropped off to them for steam cleaning and pressure check which was 100% Everett said it had been lightly decked for straightness recently and had a valve job.
Everything comes with this head as pictured and last pictures shows its been all dry fitted back together ready for shipping in large box with lots of styrafoam packed tightly! Head cover and front timing gear 2 piece cover were cleaned as well and ready for fresh paint! Camshafts look excellent with zero pitting or spot, lifters were not cleaned just slipped back in there original holes which look perfect. Tensioner assembly and chain as well as camshafts sprockets all look well within spec but while out I would replace tensioner pads! Your not going to find a better deal than this as the same setup ready for install just sold 2 weeks ago on E-bay for $1,000 plus shipping
