Parting Out: '82 ROW 944 Automatic In E. PA
Since I haven't gotten much interest in this 944 whole, I've decided to part it out.
This is an '82 (titled as an '83, but VIN states '82) ROW 944, with automatic trans. The VIN reads WP0ZZZ94ZCN400630. The 944 runs and drives quite well, but needs a good amount of interior and body work. It could definitely use a tune up as well. It was involved in a small front end accident (nose panel, and front and rear bumpers show damage). It has ~148k miles on it. The engine runs good, and has the 41C engine code. I was told the automatic trans was recently rebuilt, and had a new flywheel damper installed. This 944 also has manual steering, manual sunroof, front and rear sway bars, steel trailing arms, Euro bumpers (damaged, unfortunately), and Euro fenders and valance. I have a clean PA title (not in my name, but I could easily get it transferred over), and would sell the shell if anyone is interested. Basically everything from the car is available. The 944 is located in Zionsville, PA 18092. ![]() SOLD: Both Fenders Front Hubs Front Calipers Speed / Reference Sensor Bracket Rear Calipers Hatch Front Euro Light Surrounds & Pads DS CV Axle Bumpers (Front & Rear) Fuchs Wheels Manual Sunroof Conversion Complete Engine ECU Bumper Fog Lights Last edited by PunchTheFish; 04-09-2013 at 04:21 PM.. |

I had a note on your other thread about the front light surrounds and pads. Close ups of them to show condition please?

Hi
I am looking for a set of rear calipers to replace the ones that are on my early 85. Do you have a set and will they fit? I live in Bethlehem so I could pick up if you have what I need for the right price ![]() Thanks, Tim |

Yes, the Fuchs are in good condition, and have good matching tires. All four are 16 x 7. |

How much for the rubber flywheel damper plate and is there some way to verify it is relatively new? I do not want to have it fail after all that work.

May have a sale pending on them. I'll keep you updated if still available. I should be able to get a hold of the person I bought this 944 from. They claimed to have a receipt for the purchase of the new damper. |

944 Parts Listing
I am interested in the driver's side rear axle/cv only if your 944 is a non-turbo, automatic. I read in there it had the steal trailings arms so its a non-turbo but don't remember seeing or reading anything on the tranny. Please let me know ASAP. Include price please.
