944 auto damper plate

Hello. I need to replace my damper plate on my 944. (Cracked)

Anyone have a used one? I've been recommended to not go with used due to the rubber aging but can't afford a new one at the time. Maybe there's a low mileage one that will be good enough.

85.5-87 944

Let me know. Thanks

-Gus

you'll need a fly wheel. clutch and pressure plate , only use a spring centered disc , no throw out bearing needed, and replace your pilot bearing .

pm if your have any issues

Replace the pilot bearing? Why?

Everything will be spinning at the same rate all of the time, so I don't see why you would need to do this.

The shaft rests inside the bearing , this will allow the continued smooth operation as well as support the end of the drive shaft.

( I have done 6 of these swaps and i prefer the spring center if going this route ).
