87 924s Part-Out

From Connecticut, got the car after sitting for over 10 years, but number 4 cylinder is shot(scored cylinder from broken piston ring) so it burns a lot of oil. Also has plenty of electrical issues, and I don't have a title. Therefore I am parting it out.

-Head is fine and I lapped the valves and put new oil seals in
-Also have 2 intake manifolds
-Body is fine except for front right fender


New parts on the car:
-water pump
-timing pulleys/belts
-fuel pump
-hood struts
-random little things

You have a black interior? I need one little plastic insert for the interior door release handle, the part that snaps into the trim and covers up the screw.

Also need a single power window switch for the passenger side. And if it's in decent shape (and black), I need the little carpet piece that goes around the shifter in the center console.

I'll pm you to let you know sometime in the next few days when the car gets trailered home from school. I have the plastic inserts and they are fine, but I'd have to test the switch to make sure it works well. The center carpet piece around the shifter is ok, but it ripped out where the sunroof switch is.

Couldn't pull a lifter out for a couple days. Car is coming home tomorrow and won't have time to do any work on it until the next day.

need the sheet metal section battery tray/firewall including rubber drain plug. Should you be willing and able to cut this out please let me know, and I'll explain.

I know exactly why, they rot out all the time. I would help you out however I just did a sloppy fiberglass job since mine was rotted too.

Don't need the tray - need the fire wall section only with the metal drain pipe and the rubber plug. I had the tray fixed a few years ago but, in addition, they cut out the original drain to make the water flow out completely and what's left is a huge ugly hole in the fire wall. I need the original drain including the metal surround (maybe 3/4") to be able to weld back in place. Makes sense...?

Makes sense now, I'd be happy to send it to you for cheap + shipping, only the little rubber flap was ripped off and its slightly rough around the rubber edge. If still slightly interested I could email you a picture if you pm me your email.

There are 3 drains in the fire wall and all of them utilize the same rubber slip-on- thingie. Just need the metal round drain pipe including the rubber thing around it - should you have 2 rubber pieces I take them (as long as they are intact).

All of the rubber things are damaged: missing the flap, mouse chewed, and cracked. Metal tube by battery box is rotted and falling apart, but the middle one is ok. Sorry to disappoint, but thats all I have.

I need the sunroof air deflector hinge for one or both sides. Also the center piece that attaches to the inside of the car. I could also use the sunroof arm / lifter unit for the driver's (left) side.

Could also use the plastic connectors that attach to the back of the rear seat for the hatch cargo cover. They both broke at the same time while I was pulling the cover back and my car literally threw the whole thing at my head.
