Fuel Lines
How do I re-do the steel fuel lines on my '81 928s. I can't seem to find a flare tool to make my own, and I don't want to use rubber or buy a whole set for $600. I just want to buy the aluminum/steel line and do my own.

Not a common point of failure AFAIK, and a quality tool that makes the needed type of flare reliably isn't cheap. Mastercool is the brand I like, https://www.amazon.com/flaring-tool/s?k=flaring+tool&rh=p_89%3AMASTERCOOL&dc&qid=1591962866&rnid=2528832011&ref=sr_nr_p_89_3
Good option might be to take the old lines to a good shop and have them do the bends and flares. |

Thank you Danglerb... I appreciate the link. You are correct...they are clean, but some of the ends need some love, and with out the tool to flare them I'm stuck.
