Ok, this one has me a bit stumped.... On my 89s4 I have a hum coming from the clutch when the petal is depressed between 3/4 and almost to the floor. It does not always hum in the same position and generally goes away when I floor the clutch
The sound is very similar to that of a pump that doesn’t have enough fluid or a bad bearing and is not a metallic hum or vibration. Car shifts and performs fine, just has an annoying ghost I would love to eliminate...or at a minimum, rule out as a warning sign of things to come.ANY THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPREICATED....I'M TAPPED. Thanks, Wil
