Weight ratio on 928S?
Happy holidays guys!
Quick question on a bet with a buddy here, what is the weight ratio from front to back on a 1984 928S? Or a link to where it states it. Thanks much!

From Porsche in 1978:
The new sports car from Porsche The 4,5 liter, all light alloy V-eight engine develops 230 HP, It is front-mounted and connected to the rear-mounted transmission/drive unit with a transaxle tube. This system is also used on the Porsche 924 and results in a 50/50 weight distribution with excellent traction for the rear drive wheels. The smooth-running, high torque engine provides OUTSTANDING performance from O to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 7.5 seconds and atop speed of 230 km/h (143 mph) . The Porsche 928 has a front-mounted, 8 cylinder engine which is connected to the rear-mounted, 5-speed manual transmission and final drive by means of a rigid central tube. This chassis concept provides the car with not only ideal weight distribution of 50 % for the rear wheels and 50 % for the front wheels, but also excellent straight ahead stability .

Porsche would say 50/50 since they're the ones who balanced the use of aluminum, transaxles, battery location, and pulled the motor back until things were all balanced perfectly.
Road and Track reported in 1983 that it was 51/49. Big deal, not sure a fillup of gas would make much difference really. Check out the specs on this article I posted on the 944 Pelican site, it's the road test between the Vette, Ferrari, 944, and 928. It shows the R&T version of the weight balance issue, etc. Not sure about the accuracy. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=259247 P
