I need some help with this car

I changed my motor and now it won't turn over with the starter but it turns over by hand and the fule pump won't work either anybody have any ideas

I guess it would help if I said what I was working on it's a 1980 US model 928 and I found the starter just a broken wire but the fuel pump is still not working

Ok now the fuel pump works to and it even started 3 times but now it won't start again it has good compression it has spark the timing is right the firing order to and the fuel injection is working but it won't start it has a full tank so it's not just out of gas someone has to have some idea why it's not running

Intermittant start/no start problems are almost always electrical. A good starting point is the cleaning of your grounds. Did you replace the chassis to engine ground wire? If that is OK, check the ground point for the fuel pump. It also wouldn't hurt anything to clean all of your relay and fuse connections.

Check the plug on the mass air flow. I had one pin that pushed out of the hole and did not make contact, the car would not run. You may be getting contact on and off again.

thank's for the advice I got it running what happend was the timing belt wasn't tight enuff and one of the cam's sliped just enuff so it wouldn't start now it run's great I had to put in a kill switch becouse the coil is getting power when the key is off but at lest I have a car again and I can figuer out the wireing on weekends
