Cheap non running S4 AT on ebay
 

If I didn't have way more than my hands full I might be tempted with this one.

1988 S4 auto near San Diego, says 170k miles, looks like used car lot repaint from the picts and doesn't run, but its mislisted on ebay in the brochures and factory literature section with a $2k opening bid. Seller says the problem is that the injectors are stuck on and it won't start, thinks its harness or brain. Wheels aren't S4, just the older 7" all around, so it may have quite a past. If I wanted it, I would arrange to meet the guy, drive down, do a few tests, shake my head, and make a cash offer on the spot. I would be polite enough not to fix it in front of him, flatbed it back to home maybe or DeVitos. Course hard to say how much the person may thinks its worth, no reserve.

Zero bids at $2k, kinda surprised me on a 88 S4, but 170K miles and it did have a lot of funky going on. Not having the S4 correct wheels concerned me, as in why wouldn't it, and none of my guesses were anything good.

Just noticed this one is back on ebay at $5500, not a bad flip, but not tempting anymore.

that's an odd one, blue ext with grey-green interior???? what was the original owner thinking?
