Sharktuner adds EZ-F support

John Speake just announced a new addition to the SharkTuner, EZ-F ignition mapping.

Works on 85+ US and Euro, unfortunately not the 84 Euro. You could always do a brain swap to a later year, insides different, interface between box and car the same. I plan to use a US 86 brain on my Euro 84 motor in my US 83 car with modified US chips.

I have read all of the SharkTuner posts and I guess I just got bogged down in all of the congratulatory posts and missed:

Is it for superchareged applications and/or other mods (performance chips, exhaust) only, or does it help improve stock, too?

What does it improve? HP, torque, 0-60 times?

Sharktuner allows you to optimize the fuel air ratio and spark to the needs of your specific car, vs the factory setup which is moderately conservative and sensitive to smog issues and mpg. If your car is bone stock, this is not the first place I would look for gains, unless you have a buddy or something where you don't need to pay for the cost of a complete Sharktuner system.

OTOH if someone has a standard SharkTuner in your region, and you have done as little as an X pipe or other modest performance options, then it might be well worth your paying the $750 to upgrade their system to include EZ-F support.

Another option I "think" will become available are generic enhanced chips. Anybody that has a 928 fairly close to what you have 928 should be able to use the same data to burn a set of chips. I would not expect them to squeeze out the last few HP, better slightly conservative than to cause a problem, but the cost might be more like $100 (pure speculation).
