Door Alarm Problems
Greetings!
Basically, the alarm is not deactivating when I use my long S key, so when I attempt to start it, the alarm goes off. If I mess around with the interior lock/manual lock on the passenger door, I can usually get it started. Any advice on where to start? Rae 1985 928s |

Shooting from the hip, but does an alarm go off or does the horn honk? ie is it factory or aftermarket alarm triggering.

Does the long key not work at all? not to arm, not to disarm on passenger door?
If its just the driver door, look for a short, clean the switch contacts, that sort of thing. List as much detail as you can, and maybe next time Alan stops in he can answer it better. |
