Looking for a good used Fuel Pump for a 85 Euro.
Also an 044 for an 86. |

Try 928Intl.com, first I would soak the old one in something. I've got one in my garage I plan to keep if I can get it working soaking in a plastic bag of Marvel Mystery oil.

Looks like the F/pump is on pretty tight so I don't want to twist the line. I have an 18 mm flair for the inside nut and picking up a 19MM flair wrench for the outside nut. The power posts get in the way of the inside nut any magic to get this loose with out an OH Crap moment.
Also the top of the tank what would you recommend to unscrew this huge nut! __________________ Super Charged 1986 928s 5-speed 1968 Corvette 2000 TDI 1998 Caddy 1989 Bmi 735 il |

Craftsman has a decent set of flare wrenches, but Snapon has I think the best ones. Sometimes you can also get a line loose on the other end from the hard to open connection and slide down a box end wrench.
Some people have made a "socket" using a PVC pipe T for the top of the tank. Really big channel locks can work too. |
