Tail light socket just gave up the ghost.
 

Tail light socket has corroded to the point the "spring" or tab has rusted off. Has anyone come up with a fix for this? Its happened before and I bought a used harness and spliced on what I needed but that ...I hope...isn't the only option. There has to be something out there for this very common problem
