NM project car on ebay

Interesting project car, looks kinda rough, guessing worse than it appears, (fubar seat that "could" still be sat in, is still a fubar seat).

VIN wp0zzz92zcs840978 says Euro S, listing says TB fail, so hard to say what level of damage internally.

Mystery

Or..IF that is even what went wrong. As it is all in pieces, I am thinking parts car more than project. 4.7 M28/12 with a 3 spd auto. Euro intake, ign, K jet. Some good parts there. It will be interesting to see what it goes for. Then again, some people are really happy with the euros and I have seen worse. It doesn't seem sensible to pull a 4.7 just because of a TB fail. I would suspect it may be more than that.

Parts car

My bet is around $1000.00 for final price as there are some great parts. Way too far for me to even look at as the shipping runs around 1K from that area to N.C.

Never been registered in Calif, so never will be. Other than that, yeah kinda more on the parts than project side, but could sell cheap.

Reservations

Just looked again. It has a reserve. The Owner is probably not serious about selling it. Or...Wants too much. I am guessing the reserve is over 500. It is also in Aztec NM. I have no eyes on the ground there. The mechanical expertise level in that area is well below par so I wouldn't expect the engine to be removed carefully or correctly. An aborted V8 conversion.....All the kings horses and all the kings men may have a hard time with that one.

Looking at the picture of the motor, intake runners don't look like Euro S to me, which I think should have some casting numbers visible on the front on one side or the other.

I think the fuel regulator looks correct, 90 degree orientation, but I never remember which is which.

Its enough that I wouldn't make a bid without all the numbers off the motor.

No sale

Bidding ended on the 28th, 350 was the high bid, which was below the reserve. No sale. I am sure It will show up again somewhere. Yea, the engine may not be original.
