Air valve... what does it do S4

Ok guys... the on going learing curve here.

When I was checking out my engine for issues the other day I noted this air valve did not have a hose attached where it clearly should have. I could not find any hose just hanging around and thus figure the P.O. disconnected it. Or... it just flew off my car on the trip home

Anyway it is here.

number 12 is what I am talking about and number 15 is missing. What will this do... or what does it do normally?

Thanks

Eric

I believe it goes to the air pump, which is an emissions piece and commonly removed/disabled.

Eric,

#12 is the throttle linkage, you have to have that.

#15 is the timing belt cover, if you dont have that you cant have the second distributor, which means the car will be running for *****

Arrow lifetime warranty

I'm going to bump the tread up.After burying his mother nine months earlier, a client of the local mortuary finally had enough money to purchase the expensive coffin he'd originally wanted. So we exhumed the body and transferred his deceased mother into the new steel casket. "What's so special about this coffin?" I asked the funeral director. He replied, "It has a lifetime warranty."--------------dvd copy,--------dvd ripper, ------------------dvd to ipod,----------------dvd ripper,-------------------dvd software,-----------
