The MotorSport SLC (not to be confused with 928 MotorSports) X pipe and Y pipe systems are all that are available for the 928 currently unless you fab your own.
We have sold plenty of them and the power increase is significant.
Seat of the pants feel is awesome.
My GTS gained 25 rwhp.
85 & 86 cars seem to get the best bang for the $ and 30 rwhp is not impossible with a well tuned and sorted car.
Shipped the X system all over the World with nothing but happy customers.
My prices are the best around as well.
The high flow cats show no measurable difference on the dyno - with or without.

I never though of having them do any mechanical work, but i am sure they are out there. Let me see what I can ask my father in law. I was only taking things like Upholstery and Body/Paint Stuff.

Sadly everyone indicates that the Y pipe is not compatible with the 78's without ditching that crossbar.

I think I'm going to spend some time over the summer coming up with something better than what I've got now (gutted cat because it was severely clogged) that I'll be able to unbolt and put back to stock easily. I can do the welds but my MIG was given away by the guy who was storing it but I think I found one I can borrow.

What are you talking about? The crossover pipe? Dude, It is not a $500 car part. Its price is only around $90+.

Where can I buy an X-pipe (be that Ott's or 928MotorSport or whatever) for my 86 Euro? It doesn't have cats, therefore the switch should be no problem smog-wise, instead it just has a big intermediate muffler (which is falling apart, hence the wish to swap it). I believe the rest of the system is similar to 86,5 US cars. Doesn't have a Lambda sond either.

Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".

Calling from Denmark to the US is quite (!) expensive...

Does he respond to emails?

Sometimes.
Why not download Skype and use it to phone internationally?

I'll try emailing first, and Skype if it fails.

It might be easier and cheaper to get a local shop to make one for my car..

Summit sells an X-Pipe for $79, Magnaflow sells a snazzier one for $149....I'm sure they are good for some power, but 26 hp..? Maybie coupled with a straight thru muffler. Thank god for overly lax smog laws in my rural Nevada town.
