Show me your BLING

I couldn't resist after seeing some other peoples stuff, and sent a batch of parts off for plating. Fuel rails, clamps from about 3 motors, and misc hardware. No idea if I will use it or not yet, maybe some yes, some no.

Ok, you sent clamps? I need to know what you spent on this bunch.

Looks killer! I hope you got the rest of the engine powdercoated to match.

Could be I should have asked about price first, but I just sent it off with a couple other batches that were being done. My understanding is that price is by "batch" but I don't know really anything else. Also for reasons I don't know the color varies a bit from batch to batch, and this one just happened to get a really nice gold tint.

I sent a variety of parts to see how different things would turn out, radiator brackets, head light lever, throttle linkage, and it won't be clear how suitable the plating is until its on a car.

This is the closest thing I've got to "bling" on the Pturd.

Installed on Saturday, what a difference!

in case the pic doesn't work for some reason... Godaddy server is freaking slow lately sometimes. http://www.stephensphotos.com/data/media/22/_MG_9016.jpg

Mini-gun Mod

What might really be kind of cool would be a small plate mounted to the drive end of the compressor with a series of short barrels welded on. It would then take on the appearance of a mini-gun. Next time you have your hood up you can tell you friends that L.A traffic is really not much of a problem any longer.

Yes it was going to require a LOT of 16V Euro Intake Runners for cores, or a costly remanufacturing of them... oh and there was a "little" issue with hood clearance :-)

I had to settle for this 16V Prototype version instead...for now :-)

Check in some of the Sharks In the Mountain Videos from the last 2 years, it was driven to both events . I am pretty you can spot it in at least one of them on YouTube. It will also be driven there again in a few weeks and will also be at the 928 Owners CLub Convention in July.

No as "blingy" but this is what we use to keep the SC belts perfectly tensioned without the need for adjustments. Our automatic belt tensioning system (16v and 32V).

Question Bling

I am planning on being at the "Shark event" and hope to see that Bling up close!
Have you had any problems putting all that power down on the road with the regular transaxle?

WE haven't had an tranny problems with any of our SC systems. As long as you use the extra power properly/maturely it will hold up just fine.

See ya soon!
