Rear Wiper
My rear wiper stopped working the other day on my '78. I thought it was the motor but I tested the motor and it works fine. Any wiring gurus know how this thing works, relay/fuses. The switch for the wiper is on is on the gauge pod in my car. Is the switch a common failure point?

No the switch isn't usually a problem could be the connector to the switch though (or anywhere to the motor) - however check fuse 15 and fuse 7 first.

My rear wiper is working again! Fuse 7 was bad. This is a recurring issue with my car and living on the coast. These fuses go bad being exposed to the air. Sort of tricky because the fuse looks fine but due to the corrosion it is not. I wish there was a simple upgrade of sorts to use modern fuses.

Try a dab of OxGard (electricians grease) on the contacts.
