That's the counter for the O2 sensor replacement interval. Should tick as it clicks over.

you can reset the box, look on the outside of the box for a round tube push it in till it clicks then try it

will do thanks i have felt the inner metal cyl real hot outer white plastic with wires loose alot and down lower a black knob screw that never seems to tighten just spins is that just a bolt didnt want to spin it either way too much if its a tune adjust knob like. OR THAT JUST MAY BE THE ROUND TUBE TO PUSH IT IN TILL IT CLICKS , AND WILL DO.

Its a distance counter to tell you to check the O2 sensor every 50k miles.

I think Porsche made it annoying on purpose, not sure how to silence it or if its ok to remove.

gotcha gotcha gotcha dont seem to hear it didnt go anywhere though just starting --i take it if it counts its prob dont click ova til going or doesnt get annoying until warmer

WHATEVER WAY BOOOOMB DETONATED ITS ALL SAFE BIG THANKS

On my 82 it was unplugged so I suggest you just unplug it. Just remember to plug it back in if you have any type of emissions inspection as the "OXS" warning light will not work.

good suggestion unplugged for now thanks dude you know your listening to many other sounds and symptoms of stuff that that ticking issue having resolve now just makes listening so much more distracting. big thanks again
