Miles per tank?!

Hey guys,

What is the fuel capacity of the 928? How many miles per tank should I be expecting? 250 miles per tank? 300 miles per tank?

How many miles per tank do you guys get??? Everyone???

23.5 gallons, MPG is highly variable, 15 to 25 depending car and driver, worse if you are really having fun. Cruising at 75 mph they do real well, around town not so well.

Yeah, 13-15 mpg, but most of my driving is around town with short stints on the freeway.

Highway driving....481 miles @ 26 MPG. City, about 20 MPG. I can't 23 gals in a tank. My light comes on and I drive for 2 days and then fill up and I can only get about 20 gals in it then. The gauge is inaccurate at best.

Forgot to mention I am big on keeping filters (air & fuel) clean, plugs clean, tires inflated properly, etc... Drive it like I own it and want to continue owning it for another 22 years.... :-)

Before the number crunchers get involved and point out this is only a little over 20 MPG, I drive from my house in TX to the in-laws in OK once a year. Fill up here and fill up there to calc mileage. 481 is the distance from door step to door step. I could drive further, but I fill up upon arrival.... It's more convenient that way, fill up is a little over 18 gals..... ;-)
