Thumbs up I think I am going to like Powder Coating

Here are the first powder coated items, It isn't that hard, 69$ kit from the cheap tool store, an old oven from the trash.... Cheap sandblaster...

Next lesson, masking.

Usually best not to paint the parts that hoses connect to, leaves them slippery.

I was wondering how well those cheap kits do. I saw one recently at Harbor Freight. I must resist.

Over in the tool forum there is a thread on how to tinker with the HF kit to get a first rate setup.

Thanks Mike for making me read that thread you posted with no Mod talk except jibber jabber. I like the idea of buying a cheap oven Craigslist just for this purpose. This is starting to sound like fun.

Ahh, but they are masked, I did not peel the tape off yet. It comes off hard as the oven makes the tape very brittle.

So I guess it probably isn't a good idea to use the brand-new stainless-steel oven that I installed in my new kitchen to do this sort of thing-?

He he, not a good idea, they give off quite a bit of smoke and stink.
