Electrical seats stop working...??
Hi all!
Today I swapped the seats from the MY 81 euro 928S to my friends MY 79 euro 928 and everything worked out great when we hooked up the seats with the cable that was hiding underneath the carpets but all of a sudden they stopped working. We checked the fuse, that one was still good but it wonīt just move at all like it did minutes before... Anyone have any idea of why this happened? Was it because the these seats coming from a MY 86 and therefor not suitable in a early car? Or was it because we only hooked up one seat and therefor blew some electrical wire..?? Or is it a relay that we donīt know of that may have caused the incident?

It sounds like a fuse to me, but you said you checked this. You should be able to take a test light to see if current is still coming from those wires under the seat. I have an OB and did the same as you and mine still work. There is 12V coming from those wires, verify you still get 12v from them.
