Usable Old Brown Interior Carpet?

Looking for a few usable yards to cover my Subwoofer Box. I can't seem to find any aftermarket stuff. Got Carpet?

do you have a pic of what type of color you are looking for, I get a huge discount at our local fabric store, I can get a price for you if you want, and ship it down to you. If you are not in a big rush I can cross the border and mail it from watertown. Let me know what type of fabric and what colour and if you are interested.

Cool, let me see if I can pull up an interior shot of the S. It's basically a standard Brown color. Would be cool to use standard Auto Speaker Cabinet Carpet in Brown. Someone had some on Craigslist but didn't want to ship it to me. I can't seem to find any online.

dano, i bought some black vinyl for my car from ebay i will give you the link,, i took a 1x2 the distanance of the back seats ,put the vinyl on top of the 1x2 i went past the 1x2 with 12 inches of material so when the seats are up the space between the seats are also covered ,then i screwed th 1x2 into the back underside of the rear seats. the material covered the whole luggage compartement with seats up or down,, i bought two yards, its 54 inches wide, i put some button snaps on the back of the material and screwed the male ends into the rear body when you open the hatch,,,covers the sub and amps perfect, looks nicer than the factory luggage cover i will try to post a picture if you cant understand what i mean
the whole project cost me thirty bucks here is the link

MPDano,
I may still have all the brown carpet that came out of my first '84 Euro. I'll have to get down to the storage facility to check. Hopefully, I didn't throw it out, but if I didn't, you are more than welcome to it.

Aweee Yeahhh. I need enough to cover a speaker box, maybe a couple yards. Let me know. I really appreciate the help on this guys, I still haven't built the box but wanted to get all the pieces in front of me to motivate me.

Owning a 928 is risky business - but sometimes you just gotta say "what the fudge".

How so Riber? For me, a Sub is a must. No better way to do and still try and keep the proper look. The Sharkwoofer proposed on Bann can only use a certain size Amps and a Shallow Woofer. No can do shallow anything as I am a Rockford Fosgate fan 100%, been one since the late 80's.

There are some threads on deleting the rear seats to make a Subwoofer Box but that would be rediculous. "That" would be ruining a 928 IMHO

I'm kidding Leo!!

It's not my style, I must admit. And I would never ever put a woofer box, or indeed any such abdomination in my car.

But what do I know, I still listen to cassettes...

928 Specialists, makes customs carpet sets, There nice like the original carpet. I'm pretty sure they match the original colors. I had new carpet set made. But I also had them supply me with a couple extra yards for similar projects. Maybe contact them a just buy a brand new yard

I agree.. If King Diamond, Mew and Kashmir were the top bands they played here I wouldn't have a radio at all (jk, everyone has different taste)

What's funny about that pic is it's NOT the only one. There seems to be one next to it and a white one in front. WTF?

dano ive always been a fan of expensive custom built systems, would not think twice to drop 5k on equipment and do a custom install, but i bought this car with a terribly installed system as you can see with bazooka tube and i will tell you i would highly recomend it vs building a box with 3 sixes or two tens,, this tube kicks butt i think they only cost a couple hundo
