that depends on what your looking for and how much you want to spend after you buy the car. Figure you will have to spend what about an equal price of whatever the asking price is in the first year to have a reliable good running car

A very wide range of possibilities, depending on luck, 928 knowledge, area you live in, skills at buying used things, and patience. Generally a pretty nice older AT, or maybe a not so nice 5 spd, or a not too nice AT in 32v.

It is possible to find a good one at that price but highly unlikely! I was very lucky in my case. These cars are getting fewer in number and expensive to maintain but you can do a lot yourself. You are going to pay a lot more for a decent car. It's the old saying "pay me now or pay me later".
