Mystery ignition switch pieces

Hi, am new to the board. Currently restoring a Euro 928 1991 S4. About 90% there! I have a problem with ignition switch assembly and am replacing the barrel, cam and electrical switch. On taking the cam out there was left a small plastic paddle and small spring in the housing. I cannot see how it fits into the mechanism?? The paddle and spring came from the cam/elect switch side rather than the barrel side. Any help would be appreciated!!

Do you have an illustrated breakdown of the assembly to work from?

Have attached a photo ( taken from another forum). It shows the two unidentified pieces, a small plastic 'paddle' and spring. Also shown in pic is the cam for size comparison
