GT Clutch re fitting

Hi
i have a 1990 GT on which i have just replaced the bellhousing, I have just re fitted the clutch pack, but how do i get the clutch arm socket onto the ball on the top of the bellhousing ? many thanks

first you need to make sure you have a good bushing on the ball
then you need to fit a U shaped wire around the three pins that come out of the back of the pressure plate then loosen the PP bolts about 5 turns then fit the release arm onto the new bushing then tighten the bolts and remove the U shaped wires,. The wire thickness should be close to 2 time the thickness of a regular coat hanger or about 3MM
