My 84 automatic passed smog today in the state of California. Does anyone know how this smog report ranks. I don't have a reference point, I am just happy it passed again....

NO ppm seems about the only weak area on the older 928's for smog, the rest is usually very clean. Related to a lean mixture burning hot, but suspect thats how they were made to run.

Congrats on passing, bottom line that the whole deal, pass and forget about it for two years.

What sucks is that the "every" 2 years keeps us (Californians) from putting cool stuff under the hood (Superchargers and Turbos).

Move to AZ. Get the classic insurance and your porsche doesn't even have to touch a dyno or be inspected. ;)
