hi all
all this info is great
i own a 928 s4 1987 Porsche of course does any one could tell me how to take the dash board out of the speed o because the odometer stopped working and my worry is to take the dash out well not all of it but where the gauges are,

Here is some further information on Pod removal with Odometer gear replacement...It seems that may be the approach for the problem. Rennbay.com :

It's not hard to pull the pod. It's hard to reinstall, though. I like to take pics with my cell phone as I go through a job for help with reassembly. Plus the pics can be posted here later for others to benefit from.

A couple of people have already done a complete R&R of the pod with detailed instructions and many many photos...no need to recreate the wheel,...... SharkSkin - Shark Attack Round Twenty-Two - Pod Electrical Refurb might be a great place to start....and Dewaynes Garage as mentioned above might even be a more detailed look at the process
