Porsche 928=Rodent catnip???

My car is no stranger to vermin infestation by any stretch. I have posted before on the topic. I think I've done a fairly thurough job of removing most if not all the evidence. I'm a decent guy, kind to animals, feed the cat(s) in the morning etc... ok, there was that one incident with an ant and a magnifying glass but in general, I think I'm kind to animals.

From day one, my 928 has had a nice comfy home in our garage. Last night I changed the oil and with the little bit of dripping going on left over from that process I left the car out in the driveway. I pop the hood this morning to check for any overnight leakage and top off the coolant (small water leak) and I see this pop up from around my windshield wipers.

I just want to know what in these cars is like catnip to these suckers!!!? Gonna open up a can of Orkin whoop-arse on these mice today!

any car that sits for a long time can become a mouse-condo.

928s have some good places, but 911s also can be mouse-condo's

Just start it more than once a month LOL

I have two cats but neither goes outside. They just wave as they scurry by...

My 1980 US When I got it was under a Large Tree of some sort > ( Perhaps Oak ) and had been sitting some many Years . After Getting Air in the Tires and changing one Wheel I got it turned around to Trailer it . Was Down Hill a bit so I had to get the Brakes going and with the Hood OPEN Discovered a LARGE RAT Living under the Hood. Rat ran back and forth in the Air Intake Tubes through the Air Filter from one side to the other.
The Rat was about 12 inches long + Tail and would not leave with beating of sticks and the like on the Car. The Motor was a mass of tiny Tree parts and excrement LOL
Finally I got it to " Vacate " the Porsche after spraying it with tear gas and it Staggered off . My Impression was that the "Rat " had been Born under the Hood of the 928 and was not about to become Evicted .
A true Rat Rod LOL
All was fine after Several pressure washings and the good part was nothing had gone inside the Car LOL

Lots of places for those critters to hide in a 928. Mine had mice at one time and they chewed a few wires. When I did the radio I pulled a mummified mouse out with my forceps. As I was looking in the radio hole I saw these two eyes looking at me!! My garage here is new and real air tight, also we have wild cats all around so I seldom see any mice. Put some decon around and set some traps in your garage. Keep garage doors closed all the time!!! My car had been stored in another town for many years and seldom driven.

Going to try Orkin man. We're on the one year plan now. Not sure how he's going to make himself small enough to crawl in through the intake... I mean the house is important but I think I'll have him spend first 10 months working on the car alone. yeah, we'll see how the Wifey goes along with that...

The funny part was the look the mouse gave me this morning like, "yo man, sup? Can you keep the racket down? Trying to get some sleep yo."
