Alternator charging now but drains the battery

Well I thought I had all the bugs out of my 1980 euro 4.7 shark, however there is one left. while putting it back together I found out I had a battery drain, so I pulled all fuses and relays, test light still on, so i pulled all the pin plugs at the bottom of the fuse block the drain went away when I got to plug O which is the blue wire leading to the alternator. Plug O is right below the three red main power wires, Right next to O is a gray factory jumper wire which supplies power to the blue wire on plug O and this pin always has power going to it with the key on or off. the blue wire I believe is #61 on the back side of the alt, I pulled out the fuse block to take a look at the back side to see if it had any repairs but did not see any. So I am stuck now, any thoughts on this would be very helpful, does anyone out there know where this jumper wire pin get its power from? I am so close now but no cigar yet, I messed with it for a few hours yesterday but no luck so far. Thanks, Steve

have you removed all of the relays and inspected/ cleaned them ?

Any relay with corroded pins should be opened and smelled for burning,
and contact inspection/ cleaning

Just found the problem, the factory gray jumper wire was on the wrong pin, it was pluged into a pin which is not used and has power all the time, this caused the 12 volt drain, found a picture in the factory book where the jumper wire goes, anyway this has fixed the problem and my charging system is still charging. Thanks all and have a great holiday,I know I will, Steve

I agree that might have stumped me for a year or two as well.
