928 intermediate plate
I have an intermediate plate which I believe is for a 928 but I do not know what year. The part number is 02 3059 008 202. There is a P within a triangle adjacent and in front of the part number. There is also the letters KS in a circle and additional numbers 1 12 98. Anyone know which model and year this plate is for?

No, I found it in a garage I was cleaning out. Should I put it up on Ebay? Would there be any interest or would I be wasting time?

Valuable piece!! Absolutely. Should fit 78 thru 86, with double disc clutch. Wow. Check 928 Intl website for new prices. Would love to have it, but can't possibly pay what its worth.
Here're old and new ones against which to compare, as I'm 99% sure yours is from 928... My new one came with the toothed wheel.

Flip side seems to match yours, looks like it needs to be riveted to the ringgear

What appears to be missing from yours is the set of 3 alignment holes for pinning to the pressure plate.
One is stepped in diam, the other two straight holes. Stan (Mr. Merlin ) can tell you for sure, but I thought those holes / pins were eliminated after 84 model year. Don't rememeber for sure. Also thought its possible to omit them on early cars, again don't know for sure. So that is important to check. Pins look like this

Only '78-'79 have a bolt on intermediate, AFAIK - 928 116 033 03

It looks like a diameter centered int plate. There are no pins on those. There is a ring on the edge of the flywheel that centers it. Somewhere in the 79 era.

928 Intermediate plate
Just got back from Michigan and I was suprised to see all the response to the post. I do appreciate all the valuable information and I am definately interested in selling this as I have no 928 to use it in. ANy suggestions on how to get this plate in the hands of someone who can appreciate it? Should I go the ebay route or post it on the used parts site here?
