Newest Addition-1984 (28s Euro 5-Speed

I picked this up this weekend. So far the AC does not work, the seats do not move forward. The sunroof switch is dead. Lots of new parts including an intake refresh, a new radiator, fresh paint, etc. Not a bad deal.

That's a nice looking ride. I'm amazed at the price. I wish I had found it.

Nice Goin!

Thanks Boise, I tried to figure out the AC yesterday. It has all new R134a parts, but I can't get it to blow cold air. I checked the freeze switch, and the heater valve. I tried to add freon to it, but I could not get it to take any.

I traded them my old 97 F250 truck plus $500. Done deal. Lots of new parts . Fresh rebuild of the engine , and an intake refresh. Previous owner was into a restoration of it. AC does not work properly, seats do not move forward, sunroof switch is dead. Still has H4s. Synchros or clutch need attention in 1st and 2nd gear. That's about it. New radiator, new alternator, new fuel pump and fuel lines, injectors, fuel pressure regulator.

VIN is: WP0ZZZ92ZES841715

Looks good.. Looks like its missing the front air grill and a fuel pump cover in the back.

you can find the fuel pump cover used (I would recommend it)

I have a fuel pump door that I pulled off to sell to somebody, but they never sent the money. PM me if you're interested. No grill parts though. Those are hard to find used in good shape. This is a sweet car though for a stellar price. Trades are always cool!

Looks nice. I would start with a "careful" look at all the work the previous owner did. Take some pictures under the hood and verify numbers etc. Generally approach doing stuff slowly, ie first step in fixing AC is not to see if you can add freon.

The PO has a rat's nest at the 14-pin connector where he had the electric fan wired into.

Off topic, I like the polish job on the phone dials on the 944. They seem to sit inside the wheel wells farther than normal. Is that just the angle of the photo? This is my son's 86 with stock wheels for comparison.

They are actually chromed phone dials from an early 928. 16-inch with 205s on them. I am going to put 225s on next time that I buy tires.
