GTS Seat Electrical Question
I bought Kevin Michael's old GTS Seat and they came in today. I'm putting them in my 82 us. The passenger seat was no problem to wire up. Hot + Cold and I'm in business. The drivers side has a ton of wires (see pics) and I have no idea what for. Maybe the drivers side is heated? You will also see in the pics a big black box under the seat. Inside is electronics. If they are heated I'd love to get it running. Two of the wires are surely for the seat belt trigger.

These are memory seats - but you won't be able to make memory work in your '82.
They may have heat - is there a rectangular switch on the side or just the round ones? For heating you need 3 connections for non heated you only need 2. Pin 2 Power (30A) is Red, Pin 4 Ignition power (15A fuse) for heating is black, Pin 1 Ground is brown Alan

How hard would it be to make the memory work? What parts am I lacking? Where does the switch (buttons) for the memory go? I'll look for a rectangular button in the morning. Just had it towed home. What now!!!!
Someone with all the options mind posting a few pics? |

You lack all the wiring to the door, the door memory controller pad, the place on the door to place the memory pad, the memory mirrors & controller that go with the seat memory on stock installations... all in all its a quite huge amount of work...
Don't even consider it... Alan

Bringing up old thread -- because I am doing the same thing.
I could care less about heat (I'm in Texas :-) What is the complete pinout for the GTS seats? thanks, Mike
