Click in clutch pedal

Ever since i replaced the ball cup bushing the throw out bearing lever pivots on, my shifting improved tons but i noticed i feel a faint click in the clutch pedal when releasing. Anybody experience this?

Yes. Check that the rubber stopper is in place that the clutch pedal rests against when the pedal is fully disengaged. Sometimes it is removed to gain further travel after bleeding. Usually this trick will relieve grinding issues, but the release of the clutch pedal will have an audible click to it.

I have a similar click in the pedal, can't remember if mine is intermittent or always there. Have not determined the cause yet, but I suspect the contact surfaces between the release bearing and lever are worn funny (I have a squeak in the clutch when the engine is off among other issues).

EDIT: what about the clutch switch for the cruise control? Mine used to click until I removed it (system was inop)

Mine is not something i hear rather something i feel in my foot.

a subtle click or knotch sensation when i am letting the clutch up about half way.

Thanks for advice i will look into your suggestions

There is a point in the clutch travel where it overcomes the spring and it feels like that.

There may be too large of a gap between the pedal adjustment rod and the clutch master cylinder which could cause the click. The original WSM said to allow .004" gap but IIRC in 91 the manual was changed to no gap and a one revolution preload.
