I paid $60 for this tool and it really sucks

Everyone should have one, MityVac fluid evacuator.

Mityvac 7400 - Fluid evacuator 1.9 gallon
1.9 gallon Fluid Evacuator
Now with increased capacity! - 7.3 Liter (1.9 gallon) fluid reservoir.

Stronger reservoir - Redesigned with stiffening ribs for added durability.
Redesigned pump handle - Strengthened for longer tool life.
Greater stability - Larger base for reduced change of tipping and spills.
Ability to evacuate most automotive liquids and chemicals, including transmission fluid, brake fluid, gear and engine oil.
Automatic shut-off prevents overfilling.
Requires no electricity or compressed air to operate.
Pressure relief valve for safety.
Durable polyethylene construction will not rust or corrode.
Dip stick tubes for engine oil removal.
Quick-drain pour spout for easy dispensing of fluids.
Size: 25 inches tall x 7.5 inches diameter

Note, pict is of more expensive model without a pump that uses shop air, not a good home choice as it uses a lot of air.

I have the Mityvac 7201 ($85 on Amazon) and it works great. It is a little bit more money but it holds 8.8L and you can also use the pump to get rid of the old oil/fluid.

Here is pic from Amazon,

The difference is that yours has the hand pump outside the storage cylinder. I didn't know it existed when I bought mine, and would have gotten it instead due not so much to the increased volume (although pumping the old gas out of a leaking but full tank might of made it worth it), but that pump out feature. Dumping it out with a funnel etc works fine, but if I had an AT I would really like that pump out feature I think.

This is such a handy item for keeping the valley and pits between the heads on a 928 clear. Once you use one, nobody is willing to do without.
