Perhaps some irony is lost if you are not here due to being booted from another forum. This is the island of broken toys, a hardy band of rogues who live free and do stuff that isn't allowed.

...And nobody really cares much for what you think - thats what they're telling you. Who made you the determiner of what is and isn't approriate on this forum? or what is or isn't a 928? You might at least have said "In My Opinion" but no you think you have some divine right to decide for everybody else... Hope the eventual fall off that horse doesn't kill you. I have no plans to put a Chevy in it - but I have absolutely no issue with someone who does - especially if they intend to do it really well and share build details. Maybe you should just take your attitude somewhere else - it won't wash well here - or there.... (or actually anywhere much really) Alan

Alan is far from ignorant. He knows more about the 928 electronics than anyone on this forum.
My 928 is not original either. It has an Alpine stereo and Cayenne wheels. I guess I don't belong here either. Desertspirit, your posts in this thread have not been constructive, instructive nor informative and are not welcome.

Well it seems it all seems very clear to me now - the shouting & the red really helped.
I really don't think you have been around here long enough to know why I'm still here. I'll let others decide who really has what issues here. Alan

Desertspirit is the antagonistic poster who always must have the last word. Best to just ignore. Is there a way on this site to eliminate seeing his posts?

I venture to say this lesson in getting to know yourself, if you were remotely interested, and why you are disturbed is a VERY VALUABLE LESSON and that you could learn much about yourself, if you opened your tightly closed mind to this fact.
Oh my goodness. Your efforts would be better spent organizing thoughts than perfecting spell check. |

Keep going (err digging) - why stop now?
As to paying any attention to what you say - ahh not so much - just stoking the fire So much fun seeing what you will come up with next. Good job they don't vote people off the island here - the only option is Ignore when it gets too tiring: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/profile.php?do=ignorelist ![]() Alan

You should keep going for the sake of everyone.. some may not have see this thread yet - by keeping on posting you keep it very visible at the top for all to see.
Ignore is just for those who have had enough (...quitters!) Tell us more about the therapy Alan

Visibility is crucial,
Persistence is necessary, Consistence is important but can be boring, Sufficient is a thread gone on for toooooo long, Personal animosity is a waste of time, Judgment is for a higher authority, Conclusions can be/will be drawn, Life is what you make it! Coping is Critical! Patience is enduring! Therapy is...different things to different people...including...for me, of course, wrenching on cars!

Outstanding work Tony. I have to admit that I don't have the wherewithal to do that kind of work yet.
But it is inspiring. Last edited by hobbyshark; 04-29-2014 at 06:01 PM.. |

OK Tony has asked for his thread back
It's really been quite surreal - but we should probably respect his wishes and get back to the titled content. Let's keep the jack stands or lack thereof off in their own thread. And - I've never put anyone on ignore - yet - so you didn't really comprehend. Alan

I'll try to put this thread back on course but, I don't think someone will let it. Amazing 928 Tony. I came over here looking for more pictures, starting to considering selling my Murf setup and going with a LS swap.
