928 Motocross Numbers

Couldn't resist. I ordered up some decals to put on my KTM 250cc Motocross Bike. Since I never race anyways "and" I'll never get a low number. I put what was natural to me.

They are going on this bad boy!

2 smokes rule and always will. It's kinda like an un-trained bucking horse, without respect, it's ready to buck you off.

That's so true, brings me back to childhood on the KX 80. Very cool bike Leo, my Father in Law has all KTM bikes. I was always a Kawa or Yamaha guy.

He's just like us, but has been working ebay and craigslist pretty hard.

Buying the dirt bikes from the 70's and 80's at sub $700 each.

Point is that the older dirt bikes are also cool, and priced like 928's, very affordable.

Leo's seems much newer, and looks like he's deep into SC motocross. Love the 928 stickers

I had a Suzuki TM-400 dirt race bike years ago. One piston, killer to start and tremendous power.

Not deep into it, just wanted one all my life so here we are. I bought it about 6 months ago. Took it out a couple times. In Jan, went to the Desert with some friends and had a blast. My KTM 250 SX is a 2002 model. I got super lucky when I found this one on Craigslist. Got it for $1000 and it was local. Engine looks rebuilt as it shows very new gaskets. Runs like a bat outta hell too. Actually scary quick.

Just bought this one for my son last night. A 2003 KTM 50 SX Pro Senior. Ordered the Training Wheels and Rockstar Decal Kit too.

Had that one coming. For those not knowing that I had to get my KTM 250 lowered to accommodate my short Filipino legs.

KTM's are pretty radical. I have a friend that just started racing a KTM 200. Still they aren't a Maico 490. The Maico 490 is a man's motorcycle.

Looks like a Widowmaker to me Way too much power. My 250cc is already way more than I need.

Got my Overlays today. Looks sweet! Graphics Company made a mistake on the Font portion of my nickname. They hooked me up with a grip of spares.

Heading out to the Desert this weekend with the family. Had to make sure and get the graphics on and not try and do this on the sand.

MPDANO, that Maico is sweet! This is what I'm riding these days. 250CC is enough for me too. There were only 3,200 Hodaka 250SLs. I'm about to buy four more of them including three Hodaka Thunderdogs. There were only 800 of them. They are Japanese but still very cool bikes.
