I'm going to try and use a 12v regular light bulb tomorrow but idk where I'm going to get a flexible Allen bit driver on easter Sunday. I'll try and take pics of what I do, I'm just going to use a couple wires rather than try to build anything though

if you have some thick walled vacuum tubing the kind with threads on the outside,
you can super glue a piece of the allen wrench to the inside of it, then you can adjust the MAF. allen part should be about an inch long and the hose SB about 12inches |
Well the regular light bulbs didn't work, might try using the multimeter in its place tomorrow and see what's up

Read all the instructions from Porken. I recall some action you need to make prior to the test and adjust.

I can't get the diagnostic connector to work right, no on or off on the A connector it just hovers at some voltage no matter what I do.
So what I did was adjusted the maf until it was too lean to run with the idle screw turned all the way in. Then I adjusted the idle screw out until it would idle, and the adjusted the maf until it raised the idle, then back it off again until it went back to the lower stable idle. At this point it was too rich from what my nose could smell on the tailpipe so I adjusted it again with small increments until the exhaust gas smelled like just like clean air to my nose. About to go for a test drive to pick up this pizza, will post results when I get back |
