Heated Seats

Does anyone know the principle of operation for the heated seats, Seems a very complicated system for something that should be very simple!

The Dia shows the Delaying Relay, Switch and Back Element wired in parallel with the Seat and Side Elements in Series

I recorded the following on a working seat.

Relay

Terminals

15 – Pos + 12 volts to Relay

HZG/87 - Power Out to Elements

31 – Neg – volts to Relay, rheostat, Seat Elements

EA – +3 Volts

P+ - +5 Volts

These EA and P+ results did not seam to change if the seat element was energized or not

Delaying Relay is very expensive, so dont want to swap unit for the good side and f*** the good one up!

Mine is a 930 but think the same for the 928!

thanks
