Decorum

This thread isn't about 928's, but more importantly, decorum. I'm certainly not a moderator, but please, lets not let our opinions, and tempers get in the way of a great forum.( I have seen some threads really degenerate lately.) There is a wealth of knowledge, and talent to be plumbed on this site, and for my part, I have met many excellent people here.
Thanks for letting me put in my 2 cents. -Kerry

While we are at it, I vote for world peace and free root beer (diet Barq's).

Sad to see discussion devolve into name calling and hard feelings.

Well said...ditto on all accounts....but I like my root beer leaded, and most of the time, without the "root"

I remember when A&W restaurants allowed free root beer refills from a wooden keg in ice cold mugs. Those were the days.

Problem is some aren't playing with a full decorum.

If its root beer, I've drank it. Virgils, A&W, Weinhart, Rat Bastard Root Beer, Dad's, but I don't like a sweet smooth root beer, I prefer a bite.

Grew up in Lancaster County and went to Amish friends house where his mother made her own root beer.
That had bite. Very good and i think more birch beer IIRC.?? long ago.
Amish Dad had a worked Chevy Nova hidden in barn, never drove it.
What ever happened to Hire's RB BTW

The name is still around, nothing from the old soda era is "gone" but maybe not the same. My son like to waste money at BevMo, so the odd bottle of this or that ends up in the fridge. He liked the Virgils, which was sold at OSH the Sears clone hardware chain. I'm sure I have had a Hires in the last year or so.

One of my favorites growing up was real Sassafras tea made from bark off the roots before the MAN decided it wasn't good for my something.

Diet Dr Thunder is my #2 drink, mostly I drink tea, right now some Red Rose, but usually a rotation between Typhoo and Yorkshire Gold.
