Need 84 Euro w/auto interior pics

I need a couple of interior photos of an intact 84 Euro with an auto trans, specifically around the shifter and console area. I recently picked up an 84 that I'm debating what direction to go with. It was a parts car for at least one owner, maybe more, but it does run and drive and stop. It doesn't do any of those very well, but it does do them.

Mine just runs and stops.. But it wont move so the stopping part doesn't matter. I'm jealous. Haha

As long as the car runs and drives, it's probably too good to be a parts car.

Let me elaborate...
Someone cut out the electrical harness that goes to the drivers door and parts of the harness in the center console area.
A rodent chewed on most of the wires and hoses under the hood.
The interior was removed and partially lost, what wasn't lost was re-worked by an amateur upholsterer.
Front and rear "S" spoilers were damaged.
Paint has that wonderful junkyard patina
Windshield is peeling
Tires are dry-rotted and wheels are covered with various colors of paint splatter.

But I bought it because the body is straight, no sunroof and M28/21 motor. It can be a DE car with less work than a daily driver. I'm trying to decide whether to get an interior and make it a daily driver for the wife, finish gutting it and make it a DE car, or parting it out. Or I could swap the motor into my 80 euro 5 speed and scrap the rest.

It'll take $10k easy to make the car safe/reliable/dependable.... for another 5-10k it'll be presentable
you can get a well sorted, ready to go S4 for less than that for a DD

Unless you are rich you need to be brutal about fix or part.

Bad paint IMHO trumps straight body even without a sunroof, except for a track car where a cheap respray to keep it from rusting and give the decals a smooth surface to stick to is all that counts.

I would forget trying to fix the wiring and replace the whole wiring harness, long run its less work and splices are rarely long term reliable. Good news is that I don't think you need a Euro wiring harness, just the same model year should work, and they are not costly from anybody parting a car cause people rarely replace them.

Some like the auto for a track car, my choice was to part my Euro S auto and use the motor for another car.

I'm definitely not wealthy but I am very resourceful. I can assure you I won't spend $10k total (including purchase price) on this car no matter what I decide to do with it. Most of the work that I can't do myself I trade for. A very nice paint job will run me about $1500 (cost of materials). If it turns out the only wiring missing is the drivers door then I'll splice that in. Under the hood the wiring is all there but chewed up. I'll replace that because I don't trust a splice in the heat box.
I wasn't sure how well an auto would work in a track car. That's why I was considering pulling the motor for another car. Are there any members here that run DE's with an auto?

I don't believe you have an 84 Euro unless you can prove it with pics

Save it. You can do it for less than quoted. Just take your time and resto slowly.

What is recommended to soften the leather seats? Right now the drivers seat is like wood and the passenger seat is about the same.

The best thing is baby (mineral) oil for really hard leather. Apply liberally.
It will soak it up and you'll have to re apply. Keep it out of the sun.
