Has anyone undertaken a 982 automatic transmission upgrade from a 3/ 4 speed to a new 5/6/7 speed. If so what were the details? Love the 928 but the tranny is truly old school and would like to investigate better mileage and overall performance. Thanks

Seems like a lot of work for not much gain and probably reducing the value of the car.

V8 with lots of torque and wide power band doesn't need more than 4 speeds.
