Ruf 928 gts???
 

Hello all, has anyone ever come across a Ruf enhanced 928 GTS or heard any urban myths about their existence?

The go fast option is a Greg Brown stroker motor, or one of the boosted setups. Most of the big name mod cars are cosmetic.

you don't know RUF then.
I would love to have seen one, but never had nor heard of one. I know there were some early Callaway 928s, maybe 5 or 6 made. One of them was local to me and my late mechanic serviced it.

I'm surprised, now that the topic was brought up, that RUF never
dabbled with the 928.

A 928 is a much better platform for building super Porsche cars.

Alois may simply have been a 911 only guy like the rest.

Now they do Caymans i believe.
