'79 rear CV boot and grease replacement
 

Just a few pics. Not a difficult job, just one of the messiest you will ever perform on this car! One of the most disappointing parts of the kit is that the clamp provided in the kit does not clamp down tight enough. I had to shim the kit 5 years ago and I had to shim these. Other than making sure you note the orientation of the components, not a bad job. Hopefully wont have to repeat this for another 5!

Typical torn boot. All four in the rear were torn. I had replaced the passenger side boots a almost exactly 5 years ago and they really didn't lats as long as I would have liked.

Clamping the boot - some shims I had to use, a wire tie and the old clamp seem to be just enough to get it nice and tight. I know, not very professional but worked!

Been there, done that, hated every second of cleaning and rebuilding mine. The boots are what gave me the most headaches.
