Engine Detailing
Greetings,
Currently working on my 80 S Row. Upgrading Transmission to an 89 5 spd with lsd. Will be doing timing belt, hoses and tune up. While I am in there I want to clean everything up. What is the best Product for painting the intake tubes/manifold? I remember reading that normal paint wot work do to the material. am I wrong? Thoughts or Idea's? Teaks as always!

I'm not sure what your original tranny is but when I upgraded my 79 tranny I also needed to change the torque tube, shift linkage and tranny cradle. The dimensions are about 3/4 of an inch different for mounting.

Thanks Mike -> will look into local powder coating.
Pete R -> Thank you for the warning! I have the TT, cradle and all the suspension of the 89. am hoping the dual clutch will not be an issue. I did not get the s4 calipers but have heard that the S Row calipers are almost as good. Guess I will find out .Thanks!
